Bear Cubs!

I know a lot of RVers have seen their fair share of bears and thought this video was way too cute and could be helpful to someone in this situation. What a good idea. I'll admit that mama bear there would've been quite intimidating!

Water Capacity

This is really weighing on my mind. Yesterday I read the average person uses anywhere from 80 to 123 gallons of water per day. (Yeah, 123, not 120 or 125, but 123.) I think I use more than average and Todd has been great telling me we'll get extra water tanks but I know it'll definitely be less than what I'm used to. I really think that will be the only sacrifice that'll matter to me at all.

You might think another sacrifice would be space. I don't think we'll have a problem with that though. We manage to get into our tiny kitchen at the same time here in this apartment and after all the stuff is gone we'll actually be gaining space - the long, open road.

Travel Trailer or Motor Home

It looks like we've decided a travel trailer will be best for us. We get so excited looking at the selection online! The main reason is if the motor home broke down and had to be in the shop for a week we'd be homeless. There are things I like more about a motor home though. We wouldn't need a tow vehicle so we could tool around cities in a little, gas efficient, easy to park car. I can't really see us spending much time in cities, unless there is a temporary job or two. I think they have more water storage, and I could go to the fridge and get drinks while we're driving down the road. With a travel trailer Todd could put the tow vehicle, he wants a big pickup truck, on double duty haulin' for people while we stay in beautiful campgrounds and I'm sure mostly boondocking. Oh, the waiting is the hardest part. Are we there yet? Are we there yet? OK, patience. I'll keep enjoying looking at other RVer’s pictures imagining we're there too. We are in spirit!
